He is survived by: his wife Corlis Boitnott; his brother-in-law Edgar Vernon Gibson; and his sons, James "Mitch" Boitnott (Kayla Boitnott) and Jeremiah Boitnott (Katie Boitnott). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Book Hotel Flora Funeral Service (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
