It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary L. Shively of Ferrum, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Coy T. Shively and Altrude R. Shively; his sons, Garrett Shively (Kaitlin) of Franklin County and Walker Shively (Nichole) of Franklin County; and his grandchildren, Coy, Olivia, Sophia, Taelynn Williamson, Nate Moeller and Samantha Moeller.
