She was predeceased by : her father Dock Hall; her husband Carlie Beasley; her son Thomas Lee Bess; and her uncle Robert Hamilton. She is survived by : her mother Susan Hamilton; her former life partner Jason Bess; her children, Jason Bess Jr., Jessica Aceto, Sierra and Amber Bess (Mark Russell); and her close friend Melissa Saunders. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Diuguid Waterlick Chapel (21914 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Park Fort Ave Lynchburg.
