She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee Brooks and Sadie Louise Brooks; and her former husband Lewis William Morgan. She is survived by: her spouse Proverbs; her children, John "Brooks" Morgan (Lisa), Christy Fisher (Joseph) and Robert "Rob" William Morgan (Whitney); and her grandchildren, Cameron Morgan, Amber Morgan, Noah Fisher, Carter Fisher, Oakley Fisher (Anna), Jackson Fisher, Janie Fisher, Lindsey Ferguson, Kennedy Snyder and Fisher Morgan. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bassett (2590 Riverside Dr, Bassett, VA 24055). A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the Roselawn Burial Park (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112).
