Fred M. Bower Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, at the age of 88, Fred M. Bower of Fishersville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Fred departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Fred. Though Fred may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Bower; his parents, Bernard Bower and Isabell Bower; his sons, Douglas M. Bower of Swoope and Troy A. Bower (Tammy) of Williamsburg; his grandson Tadd A. Bower (Madison) of Virginia Beach; his brother Ted Bower (Mary Joan); and his close friend Tammy Warren. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
