He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Hunt and Lillian C. Hunt; his siblings, Richard Hunt (Sonny), Thelma Mowl, Shelby Adcock, Raymond Hunt and Steve Hunt; and his grandson Jeremy Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hicks Hunt; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Heinrich, Riley Anderson, Parker Anderson, Regan Underhill-Thomas, Charley Thomas, Kylee Davis, Aubree Davis, Aiden and Ryan Davis Jack. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A reception was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Jack's (1010 E Main St Ste 102, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
