He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Weaver Dean and Selena Hensley Fravel (Dean); and his siblings, Clarine Dean, Charles Dean and Willie Dean.

He is survived by: his spouse Loris Ann Williams; his daughters, Tanya Baber (Gary), Teressa Italiano (David), Tina Dean Cash (Steven), Stacey Lynne Miller (Jeffrey), Teresa Michele Patterson (Glenn), Torina Hedrick and Shelly Dean (Stacy Pleasants); and his caregivers, Rebecca Dobson and Mike Fields.

Kemper fought a long and hard battle with Parkinson's Disease.
