It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Bixby (Fishersville, Virginia), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Norma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Lowell Bixby; her parents, Howard Brown and Mary Alene Powers Cronk; and her siblings, Judy Sams and Howard Cronk (Buddy).
She is survived by: her sister Mary Jane Yeager (Harold Payne); her niece Patricia Yeager Earhart (Chris Browe); and her great-nephews, Elijah Hunter Earhart and Alexander James Earhart. She is also survived by animals, especially her pets.
