She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wilbourn, Sr. and Mary "Libby" Elizabeth Ramsey Fultz; her husband Howard "Johnny" William Groah; her stepdaughter Charlene Pearl Groah Armstong; her brother Thomas Wilbourn Fultz, Jr.; and her former husband Milton Paxton.
She is survived by: her children, Joey Scott Groah (Amy Gleason) and Robyn Paxton Thurston; her stepdaughters, Carolyn Faye Burch, Phyllis Lee Cash, Edna Jean Jerman and Freda Marlene Groah; and her grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Ashley, Dee Dee, Amber, Daniel, Jonathan Thurston, Luella Groah and Josh (Sam). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
