He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Quillen and Virginia B. Quillen; and his brother Richard Max Quillen. He is survived by: his wife Joan H. Quillen; his children, Max H. Quillen (Jo Chan) and Noirin Quillen (Josh Ellinger); his siblings, David Quillen (Karen), Dana Quillen (Paul Mierzejewski), Susan Q. Goode (Roy) and Nancy Quillen (David Haggart); and his friend Rocky "Nip" Flesher. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
