We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Curtis Garl Turner of Floyd, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Curtis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Curtis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Turner; his parents, Cam Turner and Hopie Turner; and his siblings, Shirley Gardner, Gene Turner and Lewis Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Grant Turner and Marnie Turner (Marty); and his sister Christine McGuire. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gardner Funeral Home (202 E Oxford St, Floyd, VA 24091). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
