He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Blinn McCarthy and Gerald Francis McCarthy Sr.; and his sister Linda McCarthy. He is survived by: his significant other Karen Duncan McCarthy; his children, Lauri McCarthy, Colleen Hart and Gerald McCarthy III; his grandchildren, Keagan Wilson, Fletcher Hart and Boston McCarthy; his siblings, Patty O'Conner, Carol Scannel, Billy McCarthy, Joseph McCarthy, Stephen McCarthy, Todd McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy and Sean McCarthy; his son-in-law Jason Hart; his nephew Gerald; Shirley Walsh. He is also survived by loving extended family, including a plethora of cousins, nieces.
