He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline Mayhew and Wayne Gross Sparrow. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Cary and Drew; and his grandchildren, Tanner, Layton, Callen, James and Maddie.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans' Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
