He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wimmer and Georgie Foster Wimmer; his former wife Laurie Wimmer; and his sister Pat Allen. He is survived by: his son Joe Wimmer; his siblings, Carol Wimmer (Harold) and Don Wimmer; his fiancée Connie Sheppard; his partner's daughters, Wendy Phillips (David) and Cindy Phillips (Roy); his nephew Donnie Wimmer (Sarah); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson and Colt; his nieces, Missy Judd (David) and Holly Dunaway (Joe); and his cousin Sharon Poff. He is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
