With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Velma Beatrice Roberson Reed (Floyd, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Elvin S. Reed; her son-in-law Roger Hollandsworth; her parents, Homer Roberson and Lena Cockram Roberson; and her siblings, Freeda DeHart (James), Estelle Underwood (Gilbert), Harry Roberson and Donald Roberson.
She is survived by: her husband Reed Lumber Mill; her children, Darrel Reed (Helen) and Jennifer Hollandsworth; her grandsons, Brannon Reed and Dustin Hollandsworth (Sabrina); her great grandchildren, Lilah and Emberly; her grandchildren, Shauna, Garrett (Susan), Kylie, Wyatt and Arick; and her sister-in-law Mary "Frankie" Roberson.
