She is survived by: her husband Billy Thompson; her children, Bryant Thompson and Kim Mays (Tommy); her mother Lela Peters; her grandsons, Bryce Thompson (Carlie Dalton), Jacob Mays and Brent Thompson; her siblings, David Peters (Ruth) and Miriam Gregory (Keith); her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Carter, Hilda Thompson and J. C. Thompson (Arlene); her close friends, Jeanette Simmons, Frances Burnett and Tommy Turman; and her caregivers, Janet Riggins, Tammy Young and Vicki Wade. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
