She was predeceased by : her parents, William Tazewell Ward and Etta Bell Hammock Ward; her daughter June Marie Dearing; her stepson Larry Dearing; and her siblings, William Ward, Austin Ward, Ernest Ward, Isaac Ward, Stuart Ward, Woodrow Ward, Addison Ward and Wilmouth Dalton.

She is survived by : her husband Ronald Lee Dearing, Sr.; her children, Dianne D. Mays and William T. Dearing (Ellen); her stepson Ronald L. Dearing, Jr.; her grandchildren, TJ Doss, Marie, Summer and Kayla; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Landon, Kiernan, Jessalyn and Evelyn.
