He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Napier, Jr. and Annie Louise Spencer Napier; his sister Shirley Napier Massie; and his close friend Alice Traylor. He is survived by: his close friend Lisa Gay Robertson of Forest; his son Jonathan Wayne Napier of Madison Heights; his stepdaughter Jaime Carroll (Arthur) of Forest; his grandson Jordan Scruggs; and his pet Chester.
