As we bid adieu to Hilda Ferguson's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Hilda Ferguson has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Brantley Elliott and Flossie Rowland Elliott; her daughter Cheryl Rowland; and her siblings, Gene Elliott and Yvonne Guthrie.
She is survived by: her husband Ellis Joe Motley; her son Michael Ferguson of Altavista; her nieces, Rhonda Reynolds and Debbie Crews (Randy); and her cousins, Cora Belle Brown and Joan Baumkirchner (Nick). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Oak Grove Christian Church, in care of Robert Fuller Church Treasurer, 572 Robertson Lane, Danville, VA 24540.
