James Edwin Knight Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edwin Knight of Forest, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Edwin Knight to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his parents, Elmo G. Knight and Mary Frances Witt Knight; his siblings, Eleanor Pauley, Charles E. Knight, Carroll C. Knight, David A. Knight, Manus Knight, Debbie T. Rice, Jeff Knight and Barry Knight; his wife Betty Knight; his daughters, Roxanne Cobb and Mary Alice Mullen (James C. Knight); his stepchildren, Brian Walling and Lisa Solik; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Curtis, Chris Mullen, Jay Mullen, Raquel Mooney and Jacob Knight. He is also survived by his parents and siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Whitten Timberlake Chapel (7404 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Hill Memorial Park (5196 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
