She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester A. Guala and Ruth E. Guala; her husband John Wharton; and her sister Nancy Goodbrake. She is survived by : her children, Chet Novak, Frank Novak and Valerie Johns; and her stepchildren, John Wharton and Thom Wharton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
