She was predeceased by: her parents, Naomi Stillman Allen and Herschel W "Red" Allen; and her brother Herschel "Wayne" Allen, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband David; her daughters, Joyce Armentrout (Randy Armentrout) and Jennifer Houchins (Jonathan Chandler); her grandchildren, Rupert, Aneya, Kenzie Armentrout, Elliot Chandler, Christopher, Caroline Pope, Matthew and Ethan Cummings; her siblings-in-law, Philip and Robin Houchins of Ashland, VA; and her sibling's children, Sam, Ben and Sarah. She is also survived by parent/grandparent.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
