He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis William Torrence and Louise Wright Torrence. He is survived by : his spouse Gale Layne Torrence; his children, Christy Torrence (Seth) of Chesapeake and Michael Torrence (Leasa) of Forest; his grandchildren, Tyler Torrence, Dailee Helfrich, Gavin Torrence, Gabe Torrence and Vienne Panyanouvong; and his brothers, Wayne Torrence (Angee) of Yorktown and Tony Torrence (Kathy) of Lynchburg.
