He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Charles Bowyer and Rochie Goad Bowyer; his wife Bonnie Castle Bowyer; and his siblings, Helen Bowyer Mays, Robert "Bobby" Bowyer Sr., Frank Bowyer, Wilford Bowyer and Charles Bowyer.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Bowyer (Janet), Troy Bowyer (Audra) and Susanne Bowyer; his grandchildren, Hannah Thomas (Zac), Mariah Bowyer and Conner Bowyer; his great grandchild Chelsea Thomas; his brothers, Mike Bowyer (Mary Ann) and Lester Bowyer (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Bowyer and Shirley Humpheries. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and lifelong friends.
