He was predeceased by : his wife Sabina Helen Kurello of Mary's Cemetery; his parents, Phillip M. Kurello and Genevieve Szalkucki Kurello; his siblings, Helen Graves, Jean Van Wicklen, Stacia Moore, Henry Kurello and Dr. Ed Kurello; and also Lee Park.

He is survived by : his children, Dr. Leonard J. Kurello, Jr. (Vonda), Dr. Phillip J. Kurello (Debora), Brittney M. Kurello, L. Ac and Dr. Anastasia Katany (Joe). He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, the National Center for Healthy Veterans, or the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center.
