She was predeceased by : her husband Ted "Billy" Mays; her parents, Roscoe Sheets and Vee Ola Sheets; and her sisters, Jeanette Buterbaugh and Linda Sue Sheets.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Mays and Susan Wright (Tommy); her grandson Brent Wright; her siblings, Jerry Sheets and Anna Lee Sadler; and her nephews, Mark Sadler, Danny Sadler and Mike Buterbaugh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
