With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Kathleen Huffman of Forest, Virginia. Phyllis, born on April 1, 1942 in Beckley, West Virginia, passed away on August 24, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Oliver and Clara Oliver of Beckley, WV.; her husband Billy Joe Huffman; and her sister-in-law Kay Mitchell (Pat). She is survived by: her children, David Huffman, John Huffman (Melanie) and Sherry Jo Turner (Vic); her grandchildren, Joshua Huffman (Haley), Jessica Dowdy (Shaun), Tyler Huffman (Nicole), Brandon Huffman (Taylor), Hunter Huffman (Beth) and Cara Jo Little (John); her sister-in-law Marga Oliver; and her friend Stacey Foster. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the North Bedford Baptist Church (4310 Coffee Rd, Forest, VA 24551).
