He was predeceased by : his wife Doris Ward Dearing; his parents, William Alfred Dearing, Sr. and Goldie Merkey Dearing; his son Larry Steven Dearing; and his siblings, William A. Dearing, Jr., Ray Scott Dearing and June Dearing Gray.
He is survived by : his children, Ronald L. Dearing, Jr. of Brookneal, William Thomas Dearing (Ellen) of Evington and Dianne D. Mays of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, TJ Doss, Marie Doss, Summer Dearing and Kayla Mays; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Landon, Kiernan, Jessalyn and Evelyn; and his close friend Edward Owen.
