It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Smith Vest of Forest, Virginia, born in New Market, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Andrew J. Vest, Jr.; her parents, Walter Lee Smith and Minnie Hinkle Smith; and her sister Virginia Boies. She is survived by : her significant other Jim Christian; her children, Andrew (Nancy), Robert (Rebecca), Sandra (Jesse) and Hien (Mae); her grandchildren, Krystle (Ross), Alex, Justyn (Misty), Rachel, Corey (Brittany) and Katie (Bill); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Abbey, William, Olivia and Emma.
