We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2022, at the age of 85, Terry Dawson Ray of Forest, Virginia, born in Madison Heights, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Ashby Ray and Mary Daniel Roberts; his children, David Anderson Ray and Dana Carson Ray; and his siblings, Barbara R. Crist and Norman "Danny" Ashby Ray.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia Diana Ray; his children, Karen Nelms and Kendall Dawson Ray (Melissa); his grandchildren, Carrie Johnson (Dion), Katelyn Bays (Landon), Haley Epperson and Megan Ray; and his siblings, Leslie Perry Ray (Linda) and Mary-Evelyn Greger (Tom).
