She was predeceased by: her parents, Larnie Staton and Mona Staton; her husband Donald Sands; her siblings, Buddy Staton, Bobby Staton, Alice Womack and Elton Staton; and her grandson Jeffrey Webber (Anna).
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Staton, Cecil Staton (Joyce), Thomas Staton and Roger Staton; her children, Linda Shawver (Randel) and Wayne Sands (Susan); and her grandsons, Jason Bates (Laura), Josh Bates (Christy-Lynne) and Jacob Bates (Kelly). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
