He was predeceased by: his parents, Hannah Law and Stephen Sheldon Groner; his wife Jean Mears Groner (Mears); and his sisters, Barbara Ann Groner Gaustad (Lee) and Joan Groner Moore (Bob).
He is survived by: his children, Kim of Falls Church, Virginia, Law II of Bloomsburg and Shawn of Pennsylvania; and his granddaughter Katie of Bloomsburg.
