James Edgar Golladay Obituary
We bid farewell to James Edgar Golladay of Fort Valley, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2025 at the age of 72. James Edgar touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Golladay and Vallie Marie McInturff Golladay; and his brother-in-law Everette Varney. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob E. Golladay of Barrington, NJ and Caleb M. Golladay of Timberville; his sisters, Nancy Varney of Georgetown, KY, Shirley Moyers (Bill) of Woodstock and Velma Jordan of Fort Valley; and his grandchildren, Elias, Isiah and Claire Golladay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (4260 Fort Valley Rd, Fort Valley, VA 22652).
