He was predeceased by: his wife Antonia "Toni" Holt Farrenkopf; his parents, Albert Willard Farrenkopf Sr. and Lucy Viola Askew Farrenkopf; and his sisters, Virginia May Farrenkopf Johnson, Mary Frances Farrenkopf Luter and Linda Farrenkopf Tomlin.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Lathrop (Wayne) and Daniel Farrenkopf (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Alex (Eric Curtis), Shawn (Bradley Vierkant), Blake (Angela Farrenkopf), Dylan (Ciara Farrenkopf) and Brianna (Johnathon Powell); his sister Gloria; his siblings-in-law, Pete Salmon, Becky Duvall, Brenda Mathews and Donna Chesson (Doug); Felix Vierkant, Selah Powell, Preston Powell, Jack Curtis, Emma Farrenkopf, Adelaide Vierkant, Harper Farrenkopf, Walker Farrenkopf and Maggie Curtis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (237 N Main St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Holly Lawn Cemetery (1525 N Main St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
