She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. James M. Bland and Grace Knight Bland; and her sister Anna Irby Bland. She is survived by: her children, Jim Lassiter (Brenda), Allan Lassiter (Joan Claire), Kitty Lou Pope (Greg), Jessica Pope Henderson (Dave), Bland Pope and Andy Lassiter (AshleyAnne); Roy Lassiter, Jennifer Pope Osborne (Dennis Friese), Grayson, Avery, Tristan, Hannah, Sophia, Sage, Kya, Brooks and Barnes. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
