He is survived by: his children, Dawn Reed Gunn and J. Mark Reed; his sister Julie Atkins (Carey); and his grandchildren, Celia Gunn Sadler (Lundy), Jason Marvin Gunn (Desiree) and Hillary Gunn White (Brad). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
