It is with sadness that the passing of David E Wright Jr. of Franklin, Virginia is shared. David, born on December 22, 1944, passed away on June 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Edgar Wright Sr. and Hazel Vann Wright; his wives, Lou Ann Wright and Dottie Wright; his brother Donnie Wright; and his brother-in-law John Eure.
He is survived by: his sons, Keith Wright (Kira), Kevin Wright (Sarah) and Steve Wright (Lisa); his grandchildren, Dustin Wright, Morgan Jones (Seth), Sadie Wright, Henry Wright, Sally Wright, Samantha Thompson (Sydney) and Sarah Wright; his great grandchildren, Emmie, Ellie Wright, Waylon and Walker Jones; his sister Linda Eure; the mother of his children Shirley Blythe (Keith); and his sister-in-law Nancy Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to Delaware Hunt Club or any favorite local charity.
