He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvin Emerson and Esther Emerson; and his former wife Mary Ann Emerson. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Eric (Nickie) and Craig (Mary) of Chesapeake, VA; his stepdaughter Debbie Marks (Mike) of Capron, VA; his grandchildren, Ava, Maddy Emerson, Michael Marks and Monica Francis (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Texie and Campbell Francis.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the High Street United Methodist Church (31164 Camp Pkwy, Courtland, VA 23837).
