She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Merton Earley, Sr. and Isolind Slaughter Earley; and her siblings, Gene L. Earley, Robert E. "Bob" Earley, Edith Jewell Earley and Hannah Earley Toler Lupton.

She is survived by: her husband Everett Buxton Knight, Jr.; her daughters, Denise Knight (Mark), Cindy Knight Story (Carroll) and Dana Knight Hyde (Eric); and her brother Willie Merton Earley, Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
