She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Armstrong and Virginia McMillion Armstrong; her former husband Randy Wayne Gray; and her sisters, Susan Munford and Linda Shifflett.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Armstrong, Jenny Shifflett (Brian), Nichole Bradshaw (P. J.) and Luther "L. J." Madison; her fiancé Frank Jump, Jr.; her sister Virginia Peoples; and her grandchildren, Shyanne, Steven Stillman, Annabelle Vann, Leah and Kayle Shifflett.
