She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Layton and Irene Layton; her husband Henry Milton "Hank" Myers; her son Herman Alvin Parker, Jr.; and her sister Donna Layton.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Theresa Parker; and her grandchildren, Michael Duff, Niki Parker and Debbie Jean Lester.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
