She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph P. Hopko, Jr. and Marie Conklin Hopko; and her sister Marie Bernadette Hopko. She is survived by: her significant other Wayne Umphlett; her children, Laura Mack (Doran), Sherri Woody (Steve) and John Groenestyn (Mandy); her siblings, Jean Healy, Agnes Van Strander, Lisa Watson and Joseph P. Hopko, III; her grandchildren, Casey Logan Woody, Josalyn Nicole Groenestyn, Karli Rayne Woody, Madalyn Grace Groenestyn and Logan Jett Woody; her great grandchild Aradia Rose Woody-Rini; and her pet Oreo.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made in Gen's memory to any favorite charity.
