Jack Ray Cornett Sr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Ray Cornett Sr. (Franklin, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Helen Johnson and James Allen Cornett Sr.; and his son-in-law Bubba Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Kim Hall Cornett; his children, Brenda Ferrell, Lisa Rountree (Ray), Jack R. Cornett Jr., Kevin Cornett, Amanda Burkhardt (Jerry), Kristy Cornette (Scott), Christopher Stephens (Jett) and Justin Cornett (Stephanie); and his siblings, Alice Bartlet (Arnold), Dorothy Lewis (Ronald), James A. Cornett Jr. (Jane) and Robert Cornett (Donna). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
