It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Dismukes Clark of Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Vernon Clark, Sr.; her parents, Lewis Leon Dismukes and Mary Thelma McLeod Dismukes; and her siblings, Mary Hazel Hundley, Sally D. Ford and Lewis Dismukes.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Catherine Gail Carter (Art) of Sutherlin, Carla Rhonda Rolen of Knoxville, Caren Bonnie Greene of Knoxville, Carlyn Anne Kinney (Ed) of Courtland and C. Vernon Clark, Jr. (Lois) of Cumming. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and suggests memorial donations be made the Commonwealth Senior Living Employment Fund, 435 Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston, VA 24592.
