With sadness, we share the passing of John Daniel Fowler Sr. in Franklin, Virginia. John Daniel, born on February 3, 1941 in Washington, District of Columbia, passed away on October 20, 2026. He was predeceased by: his mother Emily Finley Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Fowler; his sons, Jack Fowler (Pam) and Jared Fowler; his sister Adelle Bradbury; his nephews, Wayne Bradbury (Janet) and Daniel Crumpler; his niece Amy Bradbury; his mother-in-law Letitia Crumpler; his brother-in-law Dan Crumpler (Mandy); and his cousins, Mark, Michelle Beltrami, Dan and Patsy.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Franklin Baptist Church (208 N High St, Franklin, VA 23851).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franklin Baptist Church or Franklin Fire and Rescue.
