He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Horton Russell and Ophelia Belle Parker Hill; his daughter Tammy Jo Russell Steinert; and his brothers, Stanley Parker Russell and George Ray Russell.
He is survived by: his close friend Carol Putnam; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Steinert and Jessica Austin.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851).
