He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge L. Ralph Slagle and Virginia Slagle. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Rusty (Susan) and Scott (Amber); his grandchildren, Ella Slagle, Dane Slagle, Amanda Slayton (Michael) and Tori Hansen (Josiah); and his great grandchildren, Elowen Hansen, Camren Hansen, Victoria Mauger and James Mauger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
