It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Lee (Franklin, Virginia), who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Eley and Ruby Eley; her husband Alex "Huck" Lee, Sr.; her son Alex "Spankey" Lee, Jr.; and her siblings, Thelma Mosley, Mable Hicks and Robert Eley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Delores Eley and Haywood Eley (Shirley); her children, Shirley Lee, LaVerne Barnes (Kenneth), Vickie Hawkins (James), Anthony Lee and Angelia Reid (Timothy); and her daughter-in-law Cindy Lee. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the White Oak Sring Missionary Baptist Church (26125 Delaware Rd, Franklin, VA 23851).
