He is survived by: his wife Shawn Lynette Carr; his sons, Trevis Wayne Carr (Jennifer) of Walters and Mark Richard "Richie" Carr (Kimberly) of Walters; his stepson Richard Hendrick (Tiffany) of Sedley; his sister Vicki Lynn Carr of Chesterfield; and his friends, Phillip G. Carr and Robert "Ed" Whitley. He is also survived by his family, his faith, the farm, his friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
