We bid farewell to Milton Edwards of Franklin, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Milton touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Milton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Milton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gracie Sykes Edwards and Milton Jones Edwards; and his sister Jane E. Holt. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sisters, Joyce Ann Edwards of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Joan E. Richardson (Ray) of Rocky Mount, NC and Jean E. Hux (Phil) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his brother-in-law Bobby Holt of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
